Just off the needles, my newest infinity. Imagine trees full of ripening apples, the green skin darkening and blending into deep ruby red…

It’s the usual mash-up of my Infinite Colors and Candy Stripe patterns (both available as free downloads here), but here's the short version:

Knit in linen stitch with 4 colors (A, B, C, D) Koigu Premium Painters Palette Merino; US #8 24" or 36" circular needles. With A, cast on 325 stitches (I like the knitted or cable cast-on). Join in round.

In linen stitch, work 12 rounds. Join B and work 2 rounds B, 2 rounds A, 2 rounds B, 2 rounds A.

Cut A and continue with B for 12 rounds. Join C and work 2 rounds C, 2 rounds B, 2 rounds C, 2 rounds B.

Cut B and continue with C for 12 rounds. Join D and work 2 rounds D, 2 rounds C, 2 rounds D, 2 rounds C.

Cut C and work D for 12 rounds. Bind off with Russian bind-off. Wet block, weave in ends, and enjoy!
